Coronavirus: A virus changed our lives forever

Coronavirus A virus changed our lives forever

We are in the middle of the biggest crisis which we have never seen in our lifetime earlier and this big crises tend to change the world, often in ways that nobody predicted. In this moment, in which most of us are focused on how to survive in this pandemic with the least damage to our health, that of our loved ones and the economy.

Our lives took an unpredictable turn with the coronavirus pandemic. It has affected billions of people all around the world as this pandemic has  affected different age-groups in different ways. Even when lockdown restrictions are eased, coronavirus will affect our lives in many different  ways. All of us are looking forward to move back to our normal lives but with the vaccine months or year away, living with this virus might be the new normal where things are not going to be the same as they were earlier.

The world in 2021 or 2022 will be different to the one we have lived in until now and this new world will present new risks and opportunities for all of us. Lets see, what will world look like afterword.

WORKING FROM HOME BECOMES THE NEW NORMAL

The first big change is that working from home becomes standard a lot of businesses have realized that as their entire company has gone online the executives have thought to themselves, like 'this is kind of working we're able to still run our business and have our employees work from home', you know this allows us to not  to pay for our building of a companies and spend hundreds or thousands of dollars on big office buildings and think of all the money that goes into maintaining those buildings, from the janitorial services all the way to cafeteria. It is expensive . After this pandemic, companies allowing employees to work from home. Earlier there's a been a lot of frustration with the timing schedule of the companies ,it could be nine to five or more than that, and  that's why a lot of people have been talking about their company timing and they feel frustrating  and this could be a way of people of escaping that of keeping their jobs and allowing them still to work at home. So, I think there will be a big shift after this where companies don't really go back to their big building some will of course and more people will work from home and this could be a big fundamental shift in the way that we do business.

THE DIGITAL MIGRATION ACCELERATES

At this stage, the virus seems like an accelerator for digital change and the surprise has been to see the resistance to this digital change suddenly evaporate. It is becoming more clear that the way people are using technology every day to spend quality time with loved ones, engage with businesses and education, and perform their jobs is fundamentally shifting to a new normal. Loved ones who hadn’t seen each other in years are now seeing each other every day virtually, people are getting creative with virtual happy hours and keeping up with their formerly “physical” lives with shared workouts and virtual  parties.

HEALTHCARE CONFRONTS SOME OLD PROBLEMS

The adoption of digital health tools from assessment services to telemedicine has rapidly accelerated in this era of pandemic, with healthcare organizations all over  the world looking to digital solutions to support their efforts against the corona virus pandemic, and health technologies companies keen to rise to the occasion in support of healthcare payers, providers and patients alike. We are witnessing a step-change in the adoption of digital healthcare solutions, and that this has long-term potential. The healthcare and medical industry will be greatly affected by the coronavirus pandemic, and we can expect digital health technologies to form an essential part of the way forward.

And on the other hand there will be a monumental shift in attitudes toward mental health. Society, having experienced this collective trauma, will develop a new levels of empathy and a willingness to talk about mental health as an essential part of the healthcare in ways we have not seen it earlier.

EDUCATION GOES VIRTUAL

The change we are witnessing right now in education sector is not something that is likely to revert back to “normal” in the fall. Although teachers will always be integral part of education process, there will need to be continued flexibility and agility when it comes to things like the delivery of content, testing, and grading. So, I think online education is not the best case scenario, being in the classroom is a whole different dynamic and students learns a lot better but in this pandemic we have to switch to online classes.

If we think in different manner then this way of learning will open the door to the individuals who may be didn't have the opportunity to go to learn different colleges or schools because they didn't have an online option. Now schools and colleges will open their doors and you can get this degree either online or in the classroom or some combination of both that will open the door for a lot of people who weren't able to do that before. I do think online education will be a lot different and a lot more prominent in future.

PRESSURE TO BE CLEAN

The another big change will be  pressure to be clean, this is something that is common in some cultures but not so much in country like mine. I think this new focus on cleanliness will change the world in two key ways, first is the personal way and the other one is in kind of business way.

So as far as the personal side of things,  a lot more people will be focused on cleanliness and people will try to keep their distance from one another even after this pandemic. If you are in line with people after coronavirus, you will be staggered some  distance and being more aware of it and people will wash their hands frequently like now they do because we've all been told these are the new kind of clean rules.

And on the other hand I think businesses will now take more pride in being clean before  and that they may advertise for cleanliness and talk about how all their drivers wear masks or different things about the cleanliness  or i would say sanitize, or how clean their buildings,  theater are always cleaning every single night even if these are things that companies already did it's now gonna be something that they are sharing with the public and advertising because they know that the public is now caring about being clean after this pandemic.

THE NEW NORMAL OF SOCIAL DISTACING

This pandemic affect our social lives and interaction with others. Is shaking hands and hugging when greeting someone definitively over? Social distancing may also be here to stay for long and we may never recover the levels of social closeness we had in the recent past as human being is a social animal. Because of this pandemic things, everything just go opposite, as we are isolated at home, kept away from the people we love and appreciate. And due to this we realize the value of each other and love ones. And also because of this pandemic mental health came into the light.
